My quick find today, I was out with my family as my sister and her fiance are over and we passed a small antiques shop that I'd never noticed before and sat outside on a stand was this shell, along with 2 complete MKII helmets and a MKII shell. We had limited cash between us but will probably be going back tomorrow as there's a few bits that caught my eye.

The seller had £10 on she shells and £40ish on the helmets. My brother had £20 on him and we picked up the two shells. The MKIII and the MKII, which is a MKII No.2C which my brother claimed and I've paid him back for this MKIII.

I believe that the exterior has been repainted, but most of the interior retains the heavy textured brown paint which obscures any markings. However from the Rim weld it appears likely to be a BMB manufactured example. Unlike my other which is a RoCo helmet.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for a nice liner and chinstrap for it.
