Another very recent purchase...a Home Guard Helmet, with rough paint finish and the "downgrade" holes in the rim, came with a IMHO Canadian Chinstrap, issued for D Day to troops on the landings...

The other thing about this lid that I love is its a massive 7.3/4, never seen one that large before.. I'm a 61 and it fits great...

The strap is British, as often seen on home front helmets, but was also used by the army. As it is non magnetic.
