I have a Commonwealth steel manufactured mk11 helmet and don't know the difference between the that and the mark 3 I have. Other than the CS stamp and the chin strap bails. Any help would be appreciated

Pictures would be good, but guessing you have an early Mk2 with Mk2 chin strap lugs, and a slightly later Mk2 with Mk3 chin strap lugs. Also maybe your earlier one has an Mk1 liner, but both are a Mk2.

FYI I did the 'Hey Mods LOOK at this post thing by hitting the normal SPAM warning Triangle. I asked that this be done so I don't have to dig for this/that post when it goes into the history post files to show a new guy or should I say older guys who are not tech savvy on HOW TO POST A PHOTO here. My kids are my Tech Support for my new phone, So I know Gent's older than me and who don't have a support network can use this method and It needs to be brought to someones attention to "MAKE IT HAPPEN"
You did good Michael and it should not go to waste!!!
