Firstone Liner with serial number

Good Morning,
I’m looking for more information about this Firestone Liner, it seems that it has several lifes : first with a corporal insigna and a name « Francis Doherty » and à serial number with something like « RA 21290544 » «(I’m not sur for several Numbers). And then reused by « Barrick DW », a 2nd Lt with a number like « O……1406 and 2/Lt » I’m sure for the last Numbers.









Is it possible to have more information about the previous owners and the helmet ?

Not found anything on Francis Doherty yet but the number would be correct for a Korean War veteran. Where did you find this USA? Which state?

Thank you , actually I’ve found it in the Nederlands. So I’m not aware of the history and how it went there.

The reason I asked which US State was because there are several memorials to veterans named Docherty who came from Massachusetts, but post WW2 serials are not so easy to search for unless they are from a casualty. It's a great find, nice to get named kit and not unusual to have more than one owner in its life in service.
