    Picked up this m1 from a local shop. Can i get anyones thoughts on authenticity? The liner is a Firestone. And the shell is rear seam and has a marking that hatd to make out maybe 1091 or i061, or i091 ect .

    Your liner features OD-7 (dark OD) as opposed to the earlier OD-3 (lighter green) WW2 webbing. It was produced after the close of WW2. If I had to take a guess, 1953 roughly on your liner. Your heat lot number on the shell puts it around the beginning of 1945, but the finish appears to be sand. They used cork in WW2. I believe Korea was still cork as well and the silica sand came in around the 1960s. So your shell has been refurb'd later.
