    An No.2C which has an RAF roundel to the front with gold & black wings, the helmet has then been over painted a darker grey.
    Probably for a civilian working on an airfield or at a factory that was making planes for the RAF?
    Helmet & liner are both dated 1940, the chin strap is an Mk2A with an black M stamped on it.

    That is a great looking helmet, I wonder how many at the factory had the same paint job.
