MK3 Artillery flash WW2 or post War paint ?

Hello gentlemen,
There is a post on a French forum disussing abiut this following helmet.
Some of the colletors estimate the paint is post war, other estimate it is well WW2.
What is you opinion ?

As the helmet has been repainted, it has a better chance of being painted post war, than ww2.
The bright green under the red/blue flash, is that just under the flash, or over the whole helmet under the now existing paint?
Is there a service number on the chin strap.

Is it standard for soldiers to write their service numbers on the chinstraps of their Mk3s? I’ve seen this on a few now

It seems they did, as there are quite a few with the service numbers on the straps.
But if the service number is 8 digits long and starts with 22000000, it will be from 1950.
22000000 to 22199408 Until October 1950
22199409 to 22460786 Until February 1951....

The owner of the helmet gave no more detail about the number written in the chin strap... The question was made, but no answer from his part.
