Whatever its just an opinion.
Yep, 'saw that. 'might be worth cross-reffing the number of troops who served in Malta to the helmets that are cropping up!

At the current rate they are selling at, every soldier serving on the island must have been issued with one helmet for use and four for spares.
Where does all this crap end up ? Its never posted on forums. Rob
I have an idea that when some poor unfortunate has bought one he then starts to look for somewhere to show off his new treasure and demonstrate his prowess as a "wheeler dealer" . So, he has a peep here on WRF (other internet platforms are available ) and reads the critiscism of these pieces of crap then thinks "oh, better not go there they will be jealous that I have a real one and badmouth it". Then he keeps his treasure hidden only to be shown to his less well informed mates who will duly praise his stature as a great collector.
Well, would you volunteer to get roasted? We know there are plenty of buyers out there for rubbish and all we can do is try our best to spread the word

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares more about than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature with no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
Did any one see the two diamond GIS one not sure what do folks thing? Went fairly cheaply I expect because it didnt look quite right?
It was a fake.

...one thing is for sure is that there are now more WW1 tank crew masks about now than there ever were during WW1....
