Post WWII Irish army unit, even though these come up all the time, I forget which unit it is.
I am not sure why you posted it in the German helmet section, though the Irish were technically neutral during the war.

Thanks. It was one of those bargain buys from years ago. Not knowing it was Irish made it hard to find any information.
I have one just like it... all of the dates on my helmet and liner is early war...
Where do you find the dates?
It is a wartime British helmet supplied to army post war as surplus, though they were also supplied with British home front helmets during the war so it might be one of them. The design is still used today.

On one of the cross arms of the liner and near the chinstrap lugs which might also be dated.
