US helmet,info on markings needed.

Just a junker helmet,late ww2 or Korea,swivel bale,paid 15.00,looks like original paint.Some markings on front of shell,any info appreciated.

I can't help with the markings, but I just picked up my first M1 helmet yesterday. Whatever it turns out to be, a very nice find for $15!
