I have never seen one with the printing on the brim like yours, but I think it is either Civil defense, or an Industrial helmet.
Probably Fairbairn Lawson Combe Barbour, a Leeds (UK) machinery manufacturer, active dring WW2.
Many firms equipped their employees (even clerical) with helmets of this pattern, usually generic or just with painted logos, etc., but FLCB possibly made their own and stamped company ID on them.
Textile machinery manufacturers before the war, but probably working on munitions contracts during WW2.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your input.
Hi,
The design is a 1941 Zuckerman civil fire watchers helmet, they were used in factories ect and also civil fire watchers in the streets.
It was first designed by a ministry man called Solly Zuckerman
in 41, and issued to most commercial places after that.
but it could also be bought by the public for self protection, the money from public funds went to the war effort. The stamp on the helmet i cant help with.
Dave.
