ww2 british 1939 helmet help needed
Hi i am new to this forum I'm wondering could anyone answer a few questions this helmet I picked up. The helmet is dated 1939 and was made by joseph Sankey and sons the few things I would like to know are is the painted original, the liner is stamped 1952 is the whole liner a reissue are just part as the stitching on the leather looks very similar to the ww2 design and also is the chinstrap original or postwar any info would be great.

It is what it is an original shell an original post war liner an original late WW2 chinstrap ( personally I dont buy them with these chinstraps but that's just a preference). Rob
