    The shell is marked: MK1, 1939 and is manufactured by EC&Co (E. Camelinat & Co Ltd, Birmingham).
    The liner is marked: MK1, size 7, 1939 and is manufactured by JCS & W Ltd (J.     Original helmet, paint looks smooth on the outside, so could be home front use.

    Looks like a nice set. Yes, could be for home use but I have seen several others with smooth paint and believe they were out of country based on provenance.
