    Aaron,
    Indeed that''s a South Alberta Regiment flash. It was an Armoured Recce Rgt. (29th Armoured Reconnaissance Regiment ) in the 4th Canadian Armoured Division, which is interesting, as by the time it was sent to the UK, its soldiers would have been issued Canadian-made helmets. Perhaps the occupant was transferred to the 29th Armoured Reconnaissance Regiment from a unit which had come over in 1940.

    RAOC (Royal army ordnace corps)
    The service to provide storage and supply of armament,ammunition,vehicles, signals apparatus, clothing and medical equipment.
    The helmet is probably dated 1939/40, and has the blue/red/blue flash to one side.

    12th AA Div.
    Part of the 3rd AA Corp, the 12th AA Div' had 3 brigades, 3rd, 42nd, 63rd. they covered the South-West of Scotland, including the Clyde estuary, & Northern Ireland.

    Nice helmets here! I wanted to post my collection of helmets with flash but unfortunately I can't solve the rotating problem and don't want to give you all neck problems..
