ww2 Canadian helmet question

This is a WW2 Canadian Helmet correct? I bought it for $26 on Ebay (plus $5 shipping)
This helmet is 1942 dated...stamped Mark 1 inside the rim, smooth, tan colored finish.
Original WWII British Mark 1 Steel Helmet - eBay (item 260477827527 end time Sep-22-09 19:09:32 PDT)

Did I get a good deal, is the liner original???

Hi,
I would say that it has never been issued going by the paintwork
on both sides of the helmet, also the liner is in mint condition
never been worn. Most helmets of the date have wear to the paintwork the rim is usualy chipped or clear of paint but it is all there. i see it may have had a net on it at some time as it shows up in the pic. but i would say a good buy.

Liner looks Dutch to me...hard to tell though

I would say this is a Dutch rework of a Canadian MkII. New Dutch replacement liner and a a fresh coat of Dutch Civil Defense beige.

I'll post a pic of a MkI* Dutch CD rework. Compare the colour.
