WW2 MkIV BRITISH TURTLE HELMET 1945 DATED

can i have some thoughts on the paint please . looks ww2 original . whats a price for one of these before i go over the top with

the shell is dated Ro & co fu 4/1945 same as liner

This particular helmet has a very faint shield painted on the side a barely visible square with a "72" what that stands for ??

It looks like a nice standard Mk4 with the correct dark brown paint inside & out.

thanks what would i pay for one ?? i dont have in hand so the colour i dont want to land my self with a repaint , what about the number on it 72

The number on the side is some sort of unit number, don't know what for though.
As for price, well, whats it worth to you? For me there only worth about £25 because although they are WW2 made, they weren't used until post war. So the marking on the side is probably post war too.
But I have seen them sell for £75.
