Picked this up locally yesterday from a man who said he had it for about 40 years. Not an Army collector, so it won't be in my collection overly long, but I couldn't pass it up. I know it's not the sexiest unit since it formed a few days after the Armistice for occupation duty, and the liner is missing unfortunately, but I figured some here might like to see it.

Most US P17s were produced closer to the end of the war and not many saw action in WW1. ZB stands for Worchester Pressed Steel Co. I believe. The liners are missing in about 70% or more of the WW1 Brodie style helmets I've seen so dont beat yourself up about it. I like this helmet overall. Nice find!
