Falklands War SAS Trooper

Hi guys and girls.

I made this figure last year and was intending posting the pics then, just didnt get the time to do so.
It's a 120mm, (roughly 1/16th scale), resin kit by Verbiest Models that I have had in my "to do cupboard" for a number of years.
Originally, the kit had an L1A1 SLR as the personal weapon, but I decided to change it to an M16 series rifle from a Verlinden accessories pack, and also adding a smoke grenade and angle-head torch, from the same accessories kit.

The figure was painted in Humbrol enamels, GamesWorkshop acrylics and oils.

Not the best rendering of DPM that I've done, but, I feel, "adequate". But then again, the DPM pattern on the SAS smock is slightly different to that on the normal, "all arms", DPM smock of the time, as I am sure you are aware.
