Nice display model it looks good on that shelf, i like the older models as they can remind you old the history of the wars.
People forget the early wars but they are part of our history.
I had an ancester killed in the U.S civil war on the union side,
He was Cpl Albert Pendrill, 14th Brooklyn N.Y.S.M, he was killed on
1st July 1863, a little round top Gettysburg. his brother George was in the 57th N.Y.S.V, he went through the war and had a long life. Albert was 20yrs old.

That is true, I dont have any frinds in my age interesting in the old history or History in general, it is sad!!
I had a ancester that fight in 1864 Dybøll ( slaughte bench Dybøll) as ouer Danish historian calls it, and it was but he made it and I got some of he's medals and alot of he's papers from when he resived he medals
It a very nice model I like it very much
