Buchenwald scrip and ghetto scrip

These were given to me by a customer now deceased who was a veteran and came here in the 1930s escaping Germany with his family as a Jew. He came to the US trained down south in Alabama went to Europe helped liberate Buchenwald and picked up some ghetto scrip from a prisoner. He had a cloth Star but donated it to the Holocaust museum. I keep these as a reminder. The cigarette case came from a US Army guard
