Did anyone know what happened to this chairs from the Reichskanzlei. did they survive the war?
Have you seen one of this chairs in a private collection or museum?

I've wondered the same. I think similar were in the Führerbunker.

Most of things like this were most likely stripped and remade for civil or new government use. Or turned into firewood for a starving and shelterless population after may45 when the city were occupied.

Sure would make a dynamite addition to a collectors den and be worth a pretty penny to boot. Most of these Third Reich Items destroyed back then are worth plenty today.

Perhaps some in Russia, sold after the fall of the wall, when there was many things sold to the western collections.

No Teutonic furniture in my spacious gaff, merely Hepplewhite and Sheraton I'm pleased to say. I seem to recall that the above photo shows what was basically the cabinet room for the National Socialist Government in the New Reichs Chancellery built in 1938, and as Hitler was an autocratic leader who disliked political meetings where others thoughts and ideas might impinge on his decisions was never used as it was intended to be. Indeed, I believe that the nearest thing to a "cabinet meeting" of the regime was last held in the old chancellery built in Bismarck's time, and that was in c.1935 or thereabouts.
