I like the term CHARCOAL WORKERS, never heard of that before?. is that term applied to them because they are continually dirty from the grease and coal used on DER EISENBAHN? if so it makes sense.

yes, but I think that they are relegating the chore to the guy in the plain attire? at the size of the chucks of the coal that it would almost impossible to shovel them into the fire box? they would have to be thrown into it one at a time. they are rely huge chunks of coal! Toot.
I see the fireman, I wonder where that the engineer is? Mabie oiling the operating gear as he does when the locomotive is in situ.? toot.
OK. perspective. thanks Ralph.
Hei Toot, your eye fell into the trap of photography perspective.
Go Bruins!!... Boston or Providence...

Tabstabs1964, thank you. Ralph hit it right on for me also. thank you & Ralph for the reply. as you can see that I am a novice when it comes to perspective. and they are the local teams. are you a fan of them, being so far away ? I guess that a fan is a fan without boundaries? toot.
A couple of weeks ago I got hold of a fantastic photograph of the German military hospital known as Der Rote Haus (the red house) from the album of a German doctor stationed there in the cruel winter of 1941/42.
I upload it now along with 10 or 12 others that I have seen throughout this year. I have also been uploading them in the posts that talked about each of those places.
