Does anyone know what happened to this giant wall eagle, probably destroyed or something ?

This photo is from the Kroll Opera House, which was used after the Reichstag Fire. It was heavily damaged in an air-raid on 22 Nov.1943 and destroyed during the Battle of Berlin. The remains were demolished in 1951...I'm assuming that takes care of the eagle, lol...

Goebbels' Total War Speech in Feb.1943 was at the Berliner Sportpalast...a popular ice-skating venue as well, btw.
It was torn down in the late 70s, and there were people in tears watching as it was being torn down. The seats were auctioned off...
