    Hello, there were actually well over 150.000 "Mischlings" in the German armed forces. Walter Hollaender received the Deutschblütigkeitserklärung making him able to hold his rank. These declerations were given to individuals important for the war effort. He must have had some powerful friends/ connections.

    Went out and got a "German Blood" certificate. There were many Non-jewish soldiers with jewish ancestry
