    Hi all,

    I picked this photo up today on my travels and hope it's okay if I share it here.
    Unfortunately it's not close enough to read the graves plaque.

    Hi Toot.

    The soldiers in the in photo are holding long mental poles with loops. These are used when lowering the coffin into the ground.

    August Uhrmacher was not recovered during our re-interment activities. The planned transfer to the collective cemetery in Korpowo was, therefore, unfortunately not possible. His name will be recorded in the cemetery's memorial book.

    Thanks Will.

    It was a nice find to see the photograph of the family grave and to be able to see how on the tombstone there is a place for the memory of their relative who died in Russia.
