Here are a couple of pictures of the 1/2 link that I own. I mounted this on the wood background and added a repro eagle and sub badge. The Museum took the original anchor chains and cut them up, stamped them. They sold them to help support a restoration a while ago from what I understand!

Very interesting pictures-One of the members of my Veterans of Foriegn Wars Post was a US Navy Officer in WWII and was actively involved in the capture of this Sub. His name was William Bowne and unfortunetly he passed away several years ago. If I recall this was the first navy vessel captured by the United States on the high seas since the War of 1812.
Thanks for the nice inside tour Eric I enjoyed it I have seen old BW photo's of it being brought in so I knew it was there but your photos let me know what it is like. Be a great place to visit for sure. timothy
