Born in 1916, Arsène Tchakarian is now 100 years old and he's the last survivor of the FTP-MOI (Francs-Tireurs Partisans-Main d'œuvre Immigrée) who joined the Manouchian group in 1943. Arsène is not pictured on the "Affiche Rouge" as he did not get arrested with the others in 1944...
In memory of all those who came from all over Europe and the world and fought Nazism on the soil of France, their country of adoption
In memory of all those who where executed, hanged or beheaded in the name of liberty...
I bow to you Arsène and i wish you a longer life, may you bear the memory of your comrades as long as possible....
