I thought everyone on the forum knew xD. Apparently not, yeah I had one in the Luftwaffe, and one in the army. When my grandma brings down the military photo albums ill post every picture in it! It will be the forums christmas present from WillC. Both were stationed in Paris. Heres a photo of Walter (colorized) by Avenger
Hi Will, I had no idea that you had such a rich family history, I must have missed your threads with it in! Thanks for sharing it again!! Leon.

Heres the Official death card sent out in 1947. Also, his SS dagger was sent home from his barracks. He also owned autographed pics of Adolf Hitler Goering and Himmler. It all survived the war and stayed with my grandmas brother for a while. His SA dagger was also still somehow around. Well one sad day it was all destroyed in a flood. I would have to say when I learned that he had that stuff and it was lost, I litterally was sad all day. Also, my great god father was a Hauptmann in the Feldgendamerie. He saw fornt line duty and didnt survive the war. I have his death card.

Heres one of him in 1939 (sorry for bad quality)
You better watermark your pics before u post, or they will end up on ebay as originals. There's more crooks in the German TR collecting world than in NYC in the 1970's!

Well SSamir, I just realised something, he wasnt in the Gebirgsjager before 1944! In a photo of him with friends he does not have on an Edelwiess patch!
if i'm not mistaken, Skanderbeg was formed in 44. In the bottom pic it appears he is wearing the edelweis patch on his right sleeve.
Do you know which division was he in before Skanderbeg?
