Need help finding a soldiers information

Hi everybody,
I was looking at a helmet and the name on the liner was "E. Antipovs" and from the region, it is believed he was in the 19th SS, also known as the Lettische Nr. 2. is there a way to find any more information on him? it was found near Frauenburg.

If your man was in the Waffen-SS then his service records are at the Deutsche Dienststelle in Berlin. They are not very cooperative, but they are on line and it doesn't cost anything to try. Here is a link to their online web site: Deutsche Dienststelle (WASt) Dwight
