Ordinarily, the R read after the numerals would indicate a Bavarian Regiment. However, there was no 99th Bavarian Regiment (Infantry or Artillery).
This would then suggest the Prussian Regiment 6 (though the 6 is somewhat wonky and one would expect the regimental marking to be a one-piece stamp.
If this is the case, I cannot say what the remaining numerals would represent (perhaps, weapon 99).
These are just my initial thoughts and I look forward to more experienced interpretations.
Incidentally, the Prussian 99th Regiment was part of 30. Division, XV Corps.
