Shelby Mississippi POW camp book?

Hello everyone,
I hope I have posted this in the correct section of the forum.
I have recently acquired this book which was originally in Italian but translated to German. There are stamps on the inside of the book that state this book belongs to the camp shelby library and must not be taken out of the camp by any prisoner of war, among other things. The book seems to be dated 1943.
Any replys are welcome and help is greatly appreciated.
Any thoughts?

Interesting! I believe Camp Shelby is still in existence and is a Army Reserve camp located not too far from Ft. Polk La.

Very interesting indeed. The Base held about 2,500 german POWs from 1943-1946. About 2,300 of the German prisoners were Afrika korps who were captured while fighting in North Africa. I saw the book and thought that it was an interesting piece of history. The price wasn't too bad either. I am guessing these are quite rare because I cannot seem to find another example from the POW camp library on the internet.
