Any Info about ww2 soldier or unit

hi im trying to get any info about my great grandfather (Private Frank Honaker) who was a KIA november 17th 1944 in the battle of the hurtgen forest or info about the unit he was in the 28th infantry division 110th regiment company A the little bit of info i know is his commanding officer was a Colonel Daniel B Strickler (he signed the death letter) any info would be greatly appreciated thanks!

thanks but ive seen that document before and i know that is fake as he did not eluist in indiana nor was he a stock clerk
