Default Army air Corp uniform. Need help finding what medals he earned

I’ve had this uniform for about a year now and started wondering what the owner of this uniform did during wwii. I’d like to know what his job was and where he was and what awards/medals he earned so that I can put the uniform back into its original state. Thank you very much for your help!

Nice uniform, the insignia on the collar look pretty interesting you should definitely take some close ups of them. For the meaning of the patches the "ruptured duck" on the front shows that he was honorably discharged and could wear his uniform out, and the blue triangle patch with the gear in it on the sleeve meant he was an engineer specialist. The only place that I know of to get his service record from to see what medals he earned and what he did would be from NARA, but due to covid-19 they aren't doing anything that isn't an emergency so you'll have to wait until they fully reopen to get that. Now for making it "complete" from the pictures posted it looks like he didn't have any ribbons/wings/medal on it so the uniform is complete. I have two uniforms in similar condition where they have the patches and collar disks on them but nothing else. Also, I was able to find his enlistment record I'll post a link and picture of it below.

He does not have any Overseas strips on the left cuff of his jacket.
So he either did less than 6 month oversea's or he may have served on the Home Front.
I'll have to look into those DUI's

Here we go! Yes he was state side if attached to this!

Thank you for the reply. If I understand the unit correctly they trained paratroop personnel? And this particular guy was the mechanic on the planes?

I would say that they trained personnel involved in the airborne operations that the paratroopers used to get the boots on the ground.

So not the paratroopers themselves, But the aviation branch that trained the folks who got them there.

Like training the pilot/Copilots and crews of the C-47/Gliders that the paratroopers used.

Your guy could have been anything from instructor to aviation mechanic to have that specialist patch.

I love the cross stitch on the AAF patch. That looks great!!

    Hope that helps.
