Hello.....I am hoping that you can help me with any imformation about the Control Commission for Germany, in particular the coal mine at Aachen. In a junk shop in Brisbane I found (see atached pics)

Nice item.

The CCG was set up in the British Zone of Occupation in order to administer Germany. There were a lot of coal mines in that area of Germany. Here is the cap badge they wore:

Thanks for that Ade......After looking around your website I have been impressed by the wealth of knowledge shown by your members, I have sent a link to my son who is a C.S.M Infantry at enoggerra Barracks Brisbane and I know he has spent time looking and found it very interesting.
