Italian dogtag found

2 years ago, i found a italian dogtag while metaldetecting
in Poland, on a former stalag location.

Well it is half of it.

But I wanna start some research on this dogtag.
I wanna find out who this person was.. And find out if he is still
alive or maybe he has some relatives...

But I really would'nt have a clue where to start..

Can you please post pics of it? Maybe some guys on here can help. I want to start trying to find records about my uncle who died for Italy in WW1. I take it that I'll have to contact the government over there since I have little info. Maybe you'll have to do the same but I don't know how they operate.
