Monument identification help

Article about: I have for the past few years been trying to piece together my grandfathers ww2 story. I’ve tried finding out what monument this is and have had no luck. I’m pretty sure it’s either in

    I have for the past few years been trying to piece together my grandfathers ww2 story. I’ve tried finding out what monument this is and have had no luck. I’m pretty sure it’s either in France or Germany. Any help would be great!Monument identification help

    That does look like a christian catholic monument, probably for the Holy Mary, as the figure seems to hold a baby in her hands. The style of the Monument should be either Gothic, or New-Gothic.
