I come cross with one bring back paperwork and I have problems to research this veteran, I would be pleased if can get any help with this.
Veteran's last name is Proctor and he was part of Company D, 304 Medical Battalion. Part of his service number is 3195...

All what I did find was Combat History of the 79th Infantry Division, 304 Medical Battalion was with 79th Infantry Division. There is mentioned two different Proctors, but I am not sure is any of those two this Proctor what I try to find

Thanks for the help in advance.

    Hello TJ,
Well since I saw this and nobody chimed in yet, I did take a look here,
Only 1,319 names to go through for "Proctor"

But it does give their full Service number, so you can check the 4 digit's you have.
I went through to see if I had any quick finds but no luck.
I'll leave that to you to dig and see if you get a hit on it.
    Here is the link.

Maybe this being bumped to the top might get more eyes and resources other than this link and my Bing Fu and Google Chi

    Good Luck!!

To me his initials look like M.C and his rank looks like Pfc (Private first class).

The start of his service number looks like 3135.

I found this information below on the excellent website AZphil posted.

    ASN - 31355486
Name - Proctor, Maurice C Jr
    Residence - Middlesex, Massachusetts
    Date of Enlistment - 6 May 1943
    Year of Birth - 1924
