Need sevice record for usaaf airman & patch id

Hi Folks, Looking for the service record for Albert Wayne Mock who also went by "Sam". He served in the USAAF and his ID# was 19123370. I have found his enlistment records, obituary, and civilian info. but nothing more. Also need ID on the Squadron patch on his A-2. When we ID one, the other should be easy. Mr. Mock passed away at the age of 45 in 1965 here in Oregon. The only relative that had any military history on him is a niece. She has two photos of him wearing his jacket with one of them marked England 1944. THANKS, Ed.
