First of all let me start by thanking anyone for any information that can be provided regarding this Item. Several years ago I purchased the pictured cross at a local second hand store at a very reasonable price, This Cross intrigued me because engraved on the cross above Jesus is the name John F. Eberle Died Fed 4,1944. I have tried researching to find if this gentleman was in fact a service member who died in the war or was he a civilian who may have died of other causes. Again thanks for any help anyone can provide me!!Research of a possible soldier killed in WWIIResearch of a possible soldier killed in WWII
