So I have been posting a WWI Estate in pieces on here...getting lots of help on each item .

Then...I begin to research him

Herbert L. Grymes . He was in World War One...skips after that...found a document saying he was in the national guard for 73 years...he was also a Brigd. General when he retired (would explain the general's cuff links I found)

His son was Jr, who's Vietnam war helmet I have. (no luck on finding his stuff yet..I think he is alive actually)

I have found he had some history in MD as a lawyer and found he earned a silver star in WWI , in France Valor awards for Herbert L. Grymes . He was in the 29th division and I have found he wrote at least one book on the 29th division , company D.

Any additional help on him or his son would be great!
