Ww2 antenna!!!

Now something a bit less interesting.usually members ask what is this.but in this case i know what it is,but can't find any info at all anywhere on the web.these pics are the remains of stansions that were found in the centre of badbury rings for a large antenna that stood here during ww2,was it military?or commercial,can't find pics or info,does anyone have anyone have any knowledge with these large antenna's.regards minnie.
