Black painted Deutsche Jungvolk buckle

heres a new addition, i know its had paint but still a rareish buckle

Hi Matt, thanks for offer problem is whats new black paint and whats the old,as its a black model DJ , i would hate to remove any origional paint, cheers dave

Actually I ignored that there was a black painted model...anyway I think that the old paint should have been applied with a warm procedure (sorry i don't know how to say that in english...like it happens with the cars, they used special "hovens"), whilst the newer paint should be easier to remove. I'd try with some Acetone first, on the reverse, in order to see how the paint reacts.
