...nice dj buckle!
like it.
Very nice indeed!....
Very cool indeed. A first for me. It would be interesting to hear what Chad Williams thinks of this one. Very unique looking.

Very interesting buckle. Love the markings.
Dear Markus
You have so kindly shown a somewhat unusual DJ.
Wiedmann DJ's have always been controversial and once, they are considered as being fake - which they are not.
There is what a few collectors consider to be a "standard" Wiedmann which of course is a silly term to use as there are only a handful in collections. In addition, research on these DJ's is almost non existent.
The "standard" Wiedmann is to some black painted brass, with the Sig Rune attached by two long sprigs and finally, a triple line stamped declaration.
Your example is quite different in many ways and for myself at least, is the first time that I have seen such.
A rare DJ and congratulations.
Regards and best wishes,
David

Dear Markus
I can only reiterate that the buckle that you hold is and in my opinion, a very rare variation of a rare buckle.
The method of affixing the Sig Rune is however not unique to Wiedmann.
Here are images of a DJ that I have (possibly St. u L) which whilst not exact, displays a similar method.
Regards and best wishes,
David
