Hey guys....as you well know - I'm always looking for buckle variants to add to the collection and what I like about this one (landed yesterday) is the construction on the back....it's an injection molded buckle made by R.S.S. (Richard Sieper and son).
Added bonus to acquiring this one was that I have another buckle that is identical but it has been de-nazified - but in a very professional manner. You can't even tell what the buckle was in its "previous life". Quite neat to see just how well these could be modified.

PS....last shots show you the HJ buckles up to now including this new one. I haven't shown the ones that are on belts. You'll also notice some DJ and police buckles in the riker case.

Also worth mentioning - all the HJ buckles look the same - but in fact: they are all different in one way or another (most differences are discernable from the back). That's what makes this hobby so cool IMO!

Thanks Guys! Always nice to add another HJ type of buckle to the collection. Pierre - you asked if the "bluish" buckle was made of steel ... It's actually buntmetal - a late war type of lesser quality alloys. I think it also goes by the name "Kriegsmetal".
