Picked this up Sunday off ebay. First nice German item i've gotten off ebay in years. Bought it with a buy it now before the censors voided the auction.
Interesting set of Steinhauer and Luck markings.

Indeed, a super HJ and with remarkable multiple markings for Steinhauer und Lück, Lüdenscheid.
As a matter of interest, here is the "mirror" DJ.

David
Nice score for sure! Congrats - looks like a nice one!....Here's my example....
Cheers!

Hello glad you like the buckle. As I looked at my other HJ and DJ buckles I noticed this is the only one I have with a trademark. Kirby
Nice buckles guys, Steinhauer & Luck was one Heer buckle that evaded me for a long time, in my eyes quite a nice maker marked buckle to own!

An interesting remark Kirby,
"...I noticed this is the only one I have with a trademark...".
Surely you must have an Assmann?
I know that there are some HJ collectors who search for those buckles with makers logos and from what I can gather, two of the most sought after and favourites are (a) Haus Dicke (Christian Theodore Dicke, Lüdenscheid) and (b), Gebrüder Hahne, Lüdenscheid.
Regards,
David
C T Dicke u. Gbr. Hahne.
Hello David Something else to look for. I only have 10 HJ buckles and this is the only one with a trademark. I usually just collect for condition, type of material and construction styles. Kirby

You'll never guess on wich buckle!
Regards,
Guido
