Your buckle has indeed a nice patina, Ewan, but are you sure that this is a magnetic buckle? I would say it must be rather a nonmagnetic nickle silver buckle!
Assmann had also a RZM approval number for orders and badges (M1/17) and marked in early times accordingly their party related buckles "RZM 17". Later they turned to M4/39 wich is the more right section for the Koppelschloss.
