BDM/DJ Wimpel

Can someone tell me why it has the white DJ reverse instead of black..thank you..oh and is this a Jungmädelschar pennant as opposed to a BDM?

Wimpel appears to be an earlier style with the enlogated Sigrune. Early examples with unique colors sometimes reflected the Landerfarben, the SA Gau colors or matched the rosettes of Imperial headgear. This was prior to the Oberbann structure being put in place. Here is an example of an early wimpel from my collection in a "non standard" color with an elongated Sigrune. I cannot explain the use of the H.J. Diamond insignia and Sigrune on the same wimpel but the item appear period from the photos shown.
