Hi !
Please give me your opinion. I suspect it is false. It is a pity that only two photos of not very good quality are provided by the seller

Looking at the reverse hardware and the outline surrounding it, it appears that originally, this badge had the dreaded "Coffin-Shaped" Pin-Plate, indicating A Reproduction... Someone has replaced it with the Circular Pin-Plate in order to deceive...
Hi
So it is false as I thought
Thanks!
From hj-research.com :
"It's a fake Mike. The maker mark BM 1/122 is bogus. According to Patzwall the BM 1/122 fakes were made in the 1970s. He gives a good breakdown of why the maker's mark can't be legitimate:
BM 1/122
BM 1 was never used as a prefix by the RZM
Manufacturer 122 (Deutschbein) was first given an M1 licence in the 4th quarter of 1938 but not for these badges.
Many of these fakes were around in the 1970s"
There ya go, no need to examine the badge when it has that maker mark![]()
