My father served in the US Army with the 74th engineers. Towards the end of the war near the Elb River he captured a number of Hitler Youth items. This sparked my interest in this subject.
I wish I could have learned more about them from him but he rarely spoke of such matters and I was afraid to ask. I will be posting some of his souvenirs as soon as I learn how.
