    Hello all,

Further to my arm-band thread (Hitlerjugend arm-band - shirt-attached), here is the shirt to which it is attached, for your perusal and opinions. No makers marks, labels etc. of any kind, just a '39' ink-stamp - year or chest-size, I wonder? DJ/HJ buttons, no obvious traces of having a gebietsdreieck or shoulder boards at any time.

I realise that with no identifying marks it can be hard to authenticate cloth, so I have so close-up shots of the weave for those in the know.

Anyone have any opinions at all? (Apologies if bumping is frowned upon/not allowed - just eager for a response!)

In my opinion no issue with it being a period made piece. Buttons, thread and weave in material look the part to me. I don’t see any concerns. Add a leather knot, cap and scarf and some pins and it will make a nice display

I'm with Rossi. I do not see any wrong with this one.

    Fiore,

Get all the pieces some day. You will be happy you did.

Now that's a fantastic ensemble, Rossi. That's certainly the goal - although, if I'm right, that's DJ rather than HJ?

While I have the attentions of those in the know: I have the shirt, armband, summer cap and a couple of belts. So now I need, if I'm correct, a pair of shorts, a cross-belt, shoulder boards, and an area triangle for over the armband? I have a Leistungsabzeichen on the way - this would go on the right breast pocket pleat, correct? Perhaps I'll start a new thread about putting together my ensemble...
